So we are back from Panama City and we are really happy to be home. We had a great visit there and plan to go back again for a more relaxing stay. As many of you know JT and I went with our youth group for their camp/mission trip. Kennedy was able to attend this year, I was very grateful that God provided the means for that. Kennedy totally enjoyed herself, she got to ride the bus, be with all her big girl pals, the condo had an "up down bed", and she got to see the ocean as well as swim everyday with Tina. She didn't want to come home and was very angry that we did.

Upon seeing the ocean Kennedy was so cute she said" Wow the ocean is big." It's so funny I never knew that she didn't have a grasp on how vast it was….just funny.

While Kennedy was off having fun, I had a job to do. I spent a lot of my time in Panama City in meetings or running errands and cooking for the kids. I was happy to do it, but I was pretty stressed. It is really hard for me to be "mom" and "youth leader" at the same time. On Tuesday we JT and I loaded up the kids and headed to Wal-Mart, to get extra supplies for our mission site, Lifeway and Xfuge really pulled some clerical and staff errors this year, and it really had an adverse effect on our mission organization. I was really bummed about the way they did things, but on with the story. We got to our mission site to do a backyard Bible club, and we got to meet all of these wonderful children. We had so much fun just hanging out with them, playing games, face painting, blowing bubbles and sharing God's word and love.

Here are some pictures I took of us at our mission site.

We had great times in Bible study and fantastics times bonding. We also were blessed with a wonderful and downright awesome camp pastor and worship band. Thanks so much to Landon Dowden and Spur 58, we loved learning from you and worshiping with you.

In other family news Kennedy got a new bed, we purchased her a new queen sized bed, we got an excellent deal on it, cheaper than a kids bed. She loves it, although at first she was very disappointed with the fact that it was not an "up down" bed, when the bed was assembled she quickly got over it.

Jeremy and I have been spending much time in prayer regaurding a new vehicle for him, and we finally went ahead with the purchase. He is now in a much safer vehicle to drive back and forth to work in. I know God had a hand in the matter, but I can't say the process went smoothly. However we are now the proud owners of a black ford fusion, JT could not be happier. He is no longer the butt of all the cruddy car jokes from his buddies. Good for you babe J!!!

So that is it, you know most of the big and small stuff that has been going on. Check back again soon. TTFN.
