For those of you who don't know (maybe you have been living under a rock)...We are on our fabulous disney vacation. Yippee!!

We drove and as far as driving goes...It went pretty well. We had our lovely third set of hands (Shawnah) with us and that made everything go more smoothly. Although she wasn't able to do anything about the major traffic jam we sat in. LOL. So anyway we stopped in Valdosta Georgia, we got there later than expected because of said traffic jam and settled down for the night. I took K swimming in the morning after breakfast and she was already convinced this was an awesome vacation :).

So we made it to our Resort (The Hilton Grand Vacation Club) and it was amazing. Everyone is sooooo friendly. The rooms we have a just fantastic. We have a little condo. Here are some pics.

We went to Downtown Disney last night. I thought it was pretty neat. We ate at Earl of Sandwich. I had this supper yummy Mediterranean wrap. Yummo! I can honestly say I felt really rushed eating there it was packed!! DTD was really to much overload for Kennedy she literally wanted to buy everything so we left. I plan on going back and doing some browsing. I am such a shopper at heart.

Today we hit Hollywood Studios. We road the Tower of Terror. Kennedy was stoked to ride it, until it was to late to get off the ride. She said "lets never ride that again"...I don't think she liked it. We also did The Voyage of the Little Mermaid. That was a great show, she was sooooo cute singing along with Ariel and getting scared seeing Ursula in real life. That was a really fun expericne. Then we hit the Playhouse Disney Show, very fun for K. After that we did a 3-d Muppet Movie and we all really had a good time with that. We ran into Stich from Lilo and Stich on our way to lunch, he was a hoot and we also happened upon Mater and Lighting McQueen. Then we headed to Hollywood and Vine for our Character Lunch with Leo, June, JoJo and Goliath. Kennedy loved Goliath and June. Kennedy was starstruck with June. She got to do a dance with her and it was just priceless!!!!!!

After lunch we road the Star Wars ride and headed to the Block Party Bash. We had great seats for the Block Party and Kennedy got to participate in the parade.

We had a really fun day. Things didn't go perfect, we had fits and tears...but all in all today was a great memory that we will all treasure. I can't wait till tomorrow. Until then....

We had a very eventful week last week. My mom and Burt came to visit and we were so pleased to have there company as we don't get to see them often. Kennedy and her grandparents had such fun!! Mom and K built a gingerbread house. Kennedy was so excited to do that. it turnrd out so cute, as K would say. ( Normally I would post pics, but I am away from home. I am working on a scrapbook layout of the gingerbread house so you will get to see soon.)
We also celebrated Christmas with Mom and Burt and had a lovely time. It was mostly Kennedy opening presents but she didn't mind :) She also recieved some extreamly lovely outfits from her great grandma Loretta. I will post photos of her wearing them as she wears them. The are all darling. Kennedy also got Lincoln Logs, which daddy was stoked about, but now K is enjoying playing them too.
We also celebrated K's birthday. My friend Narah and I (okay mostly Narah) made darling tinkerbell cupcakes. (again you will have to wait for the layout to see the pics..trust me you want to see them they were priceless) Kennedy had a great party all of her family came.
We also had family photos and I can not wait to see those.


For those of you who are wondering about our trip. We have made it to Valdosta. The drive had its ups and downs. We had to sit on a shut down highway for 2 hours before we could make it to an excit in Chatanooga. It was a complete standstill. So that was a stress, and made us a bit behind. But really it was a pretty easy drive. It was great to have Shawnah with us, she was really able to help keep Kennedy entertained. :) So we are now on the road to Florida and we should be there to start our Disney Dream Vacation Today.
