Valentine Party and Pictures

What a fantastic week we had! Our week here was busy as always, but it was filled with so much fun. One of the highlights of the week was being invited to attend Kennedy's Valentine Party at school. I was just so excited to go. When I got to the class room, I got to see that K had decorated her own valentine box. She did a great job on it. We got to sit with some of her lovely classmates as they passed out their valentines.

Kennedy really enjoyed this process, as this is the first time she experienced the exchange of valentines. She opened everyone while we were sitting there and was delighted by each one. I had forgot those childhood moments, until I watched them through her. I thourougly enjoyed seeing this through her.

The the class moved on to playing musical hearts. Many of the kids had never played musical chairs so it took them a few minutes to catch on. They were all so cute.

Kennedy lasted quiet a long time in the game she wasn't the winner but she WAS a great sport, I was really proud of her.
Friday was a day of blessings. Jt did career day at the high school and many of our youth students and their friends signed up to take his class on technology. He had a really good time doing it and was asked back for next year. While he was gone I received a beautiful surprise...he had sent me flowers. He is so good to me. I was really surprised. On Friday night we had some friends over for movies (they decided that I needed to see Dumb and Dumber and Footloose) we had a great time just hanging out.

Today we celebrated Valentines Day as a family. JT and I exchanged cards and we gave Kennedy a gift. JT found this cool Coldstone Creamery Jelly Bean gift jar. She loved it.

Jeremy and I celebrated today by heading to the Cheesecake Factory.(While Kennedy went to Pasta house with Grandma and Grandpa Tate-thanks!!!) We enjoyed and extremely lovely meal and a great time catching up with each other.
On a off note I wanted to share this adorable photo of Kennedy "reading". She is getting really interested in reading and she just sat and read along with this CD of a book my mom got her. Thanks Grandma Mary. Too cute.
Okay well thats it for now!!! Night.
