Feels Like TODAY: Thankful Thursday

Today's Thankful Thursday is about the basics...thing that we just take for granted every day. There are people all over the world that do not have there basic needs met..and even more and more people in our country. So on this Thursday I am going to praise God for all that he provides for me, but especially for the basic things I just don't even recognize Him for.

1. I have shelter. Beyond that I have space and comfort within the shelter..I have central heating and cooling and really don't know what it is like to be too hot or too cold. That in itself is a huge blessing. I remember a time as a child were my whole family slept in the living room around our wood stove to stay warm..we all sleep in our own nice warm beds. Praise God for that BIG blessing. Thank you!!!!

2. My freezer, pantry and refrigerator all have food in them. I know I sometimes feel like we don't have anything to eat but the truth of the matter is, I have never had to go without cause we had nothing. NO not ONE TIME. I may have had to eat something I wasn't crazy about or I had to get a little creative...but I have never just gone hungry.

3. Although I am a giant germaphob...I can rejoice and sing praises because none of us have a life threatening or altering illness. We have suffered from viruses and infections, but nothing major. We don't really know what it is like to have to fight disease on a daily basis. Thank you God for the health we have been blessed with and I pray that you will continue to bless us with you abundance Lord.

4. We have clean water. I just go to my fridge and have filter clean water to drink when ever I want. I don't have to boil it. I don't have to go with out it..I just have it.

5. I have been blessed with family. Thank you JESUS!!!!!

On a side note of blessings we were blessed with beautiful weather yesterday and we went to the park. We took our neighbors little girl Emma with us. It was really a great time. The weather was perfectly perfect!!!
