Feels Like TODAY

Forth of July Weekend was pretty nice for us. Both Jt and I have to work on Monday (boohoo) but we managed to play alot this weekend. Jt and I took Kennedy to our Church 4th of July celebration and we all had alot of fun. Jt of course played washers his favorite outdoor game! (I totally don't get the draw of washers but to each his own) Our church rented a bounce house so Kennedy spent hours in there just jumping and giggling. She was such a sight. She literally drew a crowd. She had the time of her life, that is until the fireworks started. She hated the fireworks! As soon as the first one let out a sound she was SCARED! I have really never seen her be scared like this before. She cried and held me so tight and she just kept yelling MOMMY! So we took her home. She didn't go to sleep till 10:00(this is way past her bed time.)
Other hight points for Kennedy during this event were eating hotdogs, chips and having Koolaid form a cup! i had to scrub her face in the shower the next morning.

As for me I had a nice time watching my family have fun. I guess that is what being a mom is about, finding your greatest joy in the joy of others.
