Hey Hey its Tuesday...

I took some pics yesterday of our everyday lives. I know I get in the trap of feeling like my life is not so glamorous, and then being down about it. Yesterday and today I have just been thinking how blessed I am to have to totally normal and seemingly boring life. Really isn't that what we all are striving to get in some way or another. God has blessed and blesses and here I sit, saying "Hey it stinks I don't have/do/feel this"...that's so not true. Anyway we had a really average day yesterday. K had school. They are learning about rain and umbrellas this week. I picked her up and we came home to play and eat lunch. We played Old Maid and Candy Land.
I had the night off, quite by accident. We all ate dinner together and I snapped this little beauty.

There it is folks, that is what I am so blessed with. The normal everyday family. These are the two people I get up every day for. I cook and clean for them....and I wouldn't have it any other way. On a side note, Kennedy ate all of her salad last night WITH OUT ranch dressing. She didn't even have ranch anywhere on her plate and she ate...I was speechless. To top that off she said it was really good. (Those of you who know K in real life know...she doesn't eat much that is not dipped in ranch and she is very firm about that rule) We spent the rest of our evening playing air hockey, playing "Hey those are my kisses" and watching JT and K's favorite show Chuck (which I had to turn off half way through cause there was what I felt was a fairly inappropriate scene for K on-she needed to go to bed anyway.)

Well anyway that's enough about nothing....this was a kinda Seinfeld type post huh?

  4. Agree'd! Life isn't about the "high" in life nor the grand results...it's about fullfilling what God has called us to do...love Him and love others. It's a blessing to be able to love on our family members!! Your daughter is too cute!
