<--------------------------------LOOK at this Cutie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Well I am waiting for the pics to upload...so I will dive in.
I have been sick most of the week. I was just praying for K to stay on the healthy side so she could do recital. Praise God!!!!!! she stayed well. We got up this morning and ate and began to get ready for dress rehersal. Kennedy got to wear her dance costume and I did her hair in a high pony (like the studio suggested) but I added some flair, that is the perks of having a hairstylist mom. Then it was time for the big finish.....the makeup. Kennedy was so siked to be wearing makeup. WE went all out. Eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow (2 colors) lipstick and blush...she was siked and so was I. She looked awesome. I would not let her do this for daily life....I mean she is like 3 but this was a special day.

Here is the finished look. Beautiful Right???!!!!!
Okay so we did dress rehersal...Kennedy was more than excited to be on the stage She could barely contain herself. She just wanted to run up there...and then when she finally did get up there she didn't want off. (She is my kid!!!!!!!!! I was such a drama nerd when I was younger...now I hate being on display, but enough about me.) I had my doubts about how this situation would go so I was thrilled. She did the dance and wasn't any more distracted than anyone else by the huge lights and small crowd. We left dress rehersal and I told her she had a great practice and that she had great confidence....she said, "Now can I have a choc. shake?" (We somtimes get her a shake after dance....she cracks me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Jt and I took Kennedy out to eat and then to Wally's to Lefty a new dog bed...that he wont sleep on...grrrrrr! Then we were off to our house for nap time. Nap time didn't really work out today HMMMMM. So instead Kennedy watched Aristacats. She liked it.

Then it was back the Dance Recital. This time for the REAL thing. After alot of waiting Kennedy and her whole class preformed. Kennedy had a lot of love in the audience. Her GG, Tina, Alan Matt, Brock, Shawnah, Grandma Shadrick, and Aunt Vicki and Grace all came. Kennedy was really thrilled. She danced so well and was just adorable. NO she did not nail all the moves, but she had the most carisma and the bigest most adorable smile on the stage. I could not have been more excited or proud. She is awesome...each day I just praise God for her, she really rocks!

So that is that. Thanks for reading.
