Happy Halloween

We had such a fun filled week. Kennedy was involved with a preschool service project at our church. Kennedy and her classmates got together at our house Monday night and made goodie bags for those who normally don't get visitors. The made cookies, with help from Miss Amanda, Aunt Vicki and I. The also put a fall tag and bible verse on the out side of the bag and filled the bags with candy. They did such a fantastic job.

Today we all took the church bus out and delivered the goodies. Kennedy's class visited the nursing home, the high school, and a few local businesses. I was so proud that Kennedy was so freely giving and having fun doing it. It is so important to start these life lessons early. We took the time to explain to the children why we were giving, and how missions starts at home.

After we were done we went back to Miss Amanda's for lunch, we had good 'ole Mc Donald's. Kennedy had a fantastic time eating with her darling cousin Grace and her super sweet princess pals, Maggie and Sam. Her and her good buddy Silas who was the sweetest lil cowboy sat next to each other, they are just great friends. She is so blessed with so many people to love.

That wasn't the end of our fun. We still made personal visits. Kennedy and I went to visit GG, Grandma and Grandpa Shadrick, and Grandma Lewis. Kennedy did a Trick for GG and Grandma Lewis...her scary face. It is too funny!!!!

We also went to Walmart. Kennedy was so good, she never did get a nap...she was fueled on sugar so I think she was fine :).

Our youth group came over and handed out tracks and candy while Jt, Uncle N8, Grace, Kennedy and I all went Trick or Treating to a few neighbors we knew. Everyone loved the costumes I made for Kennedy and Grace (yes I MADE those, even the bows). The girls go more candy than they could eat in a year! Boy did they have fun. Best of all was Kennedy loved giving candy as much as getting it. She is just such a joy! We just praise God for her wonderful and sweet personality.

Here is one last shot of Kennedy and both of her cousins (Grace and Braden) They all looked so sweet. I just love all of them sooooo soooooo much.
So long story short we had such a fun Halloween. We are really looking forward to the upcoming Holiday season. We have so many fun things planned.
