Well today was a really chaotic day. I always make the family a big breakfast on any Holiday (I have been doing that since I lived at home with my parents) So I got up and made pancakes with whipped cream and berries. I was really excited because pancakes are Kennedy's favorite meal, I cooked bacon for her too! When her and JT got up I got them to the table and we sat down for what I thought would be an enjoyable breakfast. Kennedy wanted nothing to do with it. She wouldn't drink her juice (usually we fight because she wants more juice) She didn't even eat a bite of her pancake, and she screamed that she wanted to eat candy all through breakfast. I really just wanted to call off Easter and go back to bed. But we trudged on through her very cranky morning and her many outburst and we got dresses and when to church (late because of all the drama...and I had to do my makeup!) Church went okay. I was in the nursery and Kennedy had a few outburst there as well. One actually included hitting me...she had time out for that one. Fast forward about an hour to the Easter egg hunt. We all bundled up and headed out side (yes you are seeing her in a coat hunting eggs it was bitterly cold today)She really enjoyed it. She caught on right away and filled her basket so high she couldn't keep eggs in there! Her and Grace (her cousin) kept dropping eggs out and re finding them.. that was way funny. After church we headed home (where we snapped this great picture of us! Thanks to GG. Miraculously we all look great and Happy, even Kennedy!) Then it was off to the family get together, we ate and had another Easter egg hunt. Kennedy got so much in all of her Easter baskets that it looked like Christmas...crazy. If you need any candy just come by here, seriously (okay if you are a stalker, thief, or murder don't come by) So anyway that is our Easter....
Now back to your regularly scheduled daily events.

Silas has more candy now than he has had in his whole life put together! He has quite a few meltdowns of his own, and today is not any easier! So just take joy in knowing that you are not the only one. Even when its his favorite meal he doesn't want to eat it sometimes. He just wants his "choc-choc e-e bubby" aka chocolate easter bunny. :) Tis life with a preschooler!
